Harry, the host was fabulous to work with. He was very communicative and quick to provide any needed information. We were driving a GMC Yukon and it easily fit into the parking garage. The bus stop is mere steps outside the condo, making it super easy to get around PC/DV if you want to avoid looking for parking. It's important to note that there are a lot of stairs, so if this is an issue for someone in your party, this would not be the spot for you. Our party was fine with stairs, so it was no issue. The check out process isn't too involved or burdensome like some other places can be. Our trip was great, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Harry and Helen!

This was our family's third year back at sunspot. We love it. Harry is readily available and very easy to communicate with. There have been updates to the unit since we started going and the first floor bedroom was noticeably warmer this year. The house is comfortable with an amazing roof deck hot tub overlooking park city mountain. Kitchen is well equipped and being able to do laundry is a huge bonus . Highly recommend .

Very comfortable for 5 adults. Great communication with the owner and seamless. Place was clean and well stocked with basic supplies including shampoo, kitchen supplies, spices, sugar, lots of coffee left from prior visitors. The hot tub was nice to soak in at the end of a long day skiing. Nice to have a garage for the car with all the snow we had. We appreciated the labeling and signage throughout the house as it alleviated any questions we had. Great experience! Of note, you need to be able to climb stairs as there are a lot of levels in the condo and a flight of stairs from the garage.

The condo is perfectly located close to the slopes of Deer Valley and a short walk from Main Street. The photos are quite accurate and the host Harry was most accommodating when we had any issues or small requests. Everything in the condo was working properly. The only note is that the lower bedroom doesn't get as much heat as the rest of the condo, but there is a space heater in that room that more than adequately warms it. I'd certainly recommend the condo for anyone who is skiing Deer Valley and wants the convenience of being able to walk into town.

Thanks Eric As you saw, there are in fact two space heaters down there, one mounted on the wall (that's less than intuitive to operate, hence the little notes) and the freestanding one. That room is definitely chillier than the other levels due to the vertical design of the unit. We do try to accommodate with the heaters and extra blankets. Come back in the summer, it's the prized room!

It had everything we could want: 3 bedrooms with their own baths, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, porch, outside hot tub, mountain views from several rooms, excellent location in walking distance to Main Street, nearby bus stop, interior garage parking, ski storage, and a very responsive owner. It made for a great vacation home for our family!

This property was comfortable! The Hot tub was hot every time we got into it (even multiple times a day), the gas fireplace was a delight, the living area was comfortable for all 5 of our party to sit and watch a movie and would have been equally comfortable with 6. The kitchen table and bar stools were also a great congregating area. The bed in the Master bedroom was super comfortable and I'm picky about my mattress. Our entire party slept well after a day of skiing or exploring the town. The wifi was consistent and we didn't have any problems with it, it worked well. We only used the TV in the living area and it was excellent and easy to navigate. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked frequently. Don't let the shuttle schedule overwhelm you, the shuttle comes frequently and the drivers were helpful, we figured it out within a day. The stop is right outside the unit. Helpful tip: When returning to the condo, tell the driver you want to go to Rossie Hill which is our stop. We rented a SUV but barely used it although the garage was easy to access. We took the shuttle for skiing but often walked into town. Harry was the best host I've interacted with and I've been using the major vacation rental companies for many years. He responds quickly and he cares about the property and wants his guests to have a good experience. I was about to give up on renting thru either of the big vacation rental sites because so many are handled by corporations or property management offices. This experience was the experience we all used to have but rarely find anymore. When we come back to Park City, this will be my first choice! Thank you Harry!

This home was in an ideal location with the ski mountain being a 2 minute drive and downtown Park City a 10 minute walk. The condo is outfitted with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The communication with the owner was fabulous and the response time was immediate. Great property for a big family or two families with some kids. Plenty of beds for flexible accommodations. A great owner managed property with a hard to find “take a penny, leave a penny” style of management. Plenty of spices, condiments, made shopping easy and not as wasteful. All the dishes, utensils, appliances etc you can think of, even a crockpot and cheese slicer. Be ready for lots of stairs. Not good for somebody with mobility problems. Fantastic private hot tub and grilling deck. Right on the shuttle route, never waited even five minutes. 5 minutes to town lift or 10 to main Park City Mountain base area (skating rink). We would definitely go back.

I agree that the apportionment of beds and baths and common spaces allows for great flexibility in use for different kinds of groups.. Glad to read the buses are back on a good schedule. (When we were there last Omicron was pretty high and I sensed -- pure speculation -- they were missing some drivers, so we had a couple longer wait times.) I would characterize the condo as a bit "steppy" and also would not recommend for folks with mobility problems. Best solution is for the less mobile / fit to take the middle bedroom, for fewer stairs to living room and kitchen. Again, thanks for the kind but honest review. Please come back! Harry

Harry was great and very easy to work with. There is a bus stop located right outside the door which makes it very easy to get to Main Street, PC Mountain and Deer Valley. The condo was perfect for 4 adult males. All amenities were as described. Only downside is the unit is a little dated but extremely clean and functional.

Fair comment about some elements of the unit being a bit dated: First, we will soon be doing a major upgrade of windows and siding, so the overall look will be improved in those respects. Second, on the interiors, when I've asked guests if they mind some of the early 1980s finishes, they generally seem to understand that upgrades comes at a cost, and most are fine with the current setup. (Maybe they want to show their kids what builder-level finishes looked like back in the day.) I didn't register your comment as a "complaint," but I like to be transparent and wanted to address it. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SunSpot in Park City. The property was clean, comfortable, and incredibly well located. Although we opted to only cook breakfast and enjoy dinners out in Park City, the kitchen was quite well equipped. The view from the rooftop hot tub was terrific and made for a great way to relax after a full day of skiing. The bus stop in front of the condo (and one directly across the street) made it easy to get to both Deer Valley and Main Street. The boot dryers in the entryway were a great touch and made for a more pleasant experience. I'd note that perhaps the best test of a host is how they respond to issues. Upon arrival in Salt Lake on a Sunday, I was greeted with a text stating that the relatively new furnace was out of order. While this was not how I had hoped to start our vacation, the host (Harry M.) and his team on the ground could not have been more responsive. The unit was equipped with space heaters and plenty warm. The host followed-up by phone to apologize and his team kept us informed until the repair was completed the following day. Kudos! I would certainly rent the property again in the future.

This property is wonderful, exactly as advertised, location could not be better! Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and tv, very comfortable living area, very well stocked kitchen. Harry, the owner, was so pleasant to communicate with and the property manager was usually on property and was exceptionally quick to address an a/c issue we encountered. You do need to handle stairs as this is a 6 level (3 story) unit. We loved the rooftop porch with hot tub, many cups of morning coffee and alfresco dinners were consumed gazing at the beautiful mountains. The location was perfect, we could walk to Main St. in one direction and the St. Regis in the other. We loved this property and can't wait to return! Thanks, Harry!!!

First of all, I cannot stress enough the care and attention the owner puts in to this location. Every amenity is there for your enjoyment. Hot tub on the rooftop patio. En suite master bathroom. Full kitchen with everything. Overly spacious family room with fireplace. Boot heaters placed at the entrance for skiers. A thoughtful one-sheet with guidance on local dining and first-timer tips. Next, ease of use. Access is a keypad which eliminates the need for a two-stop check in and the worry of having a key. Location had a free shuttle stop directly out front which makes your transportation worry-free. Downtown Park City is maybe 5 min one direction. Deer Valley ski resort is 3-5 min the other. Finally, value. This location is fairly priced and worth every penny. We have stayed all over the world and have seen the good and the bad in renting. We look forward to returning with the family as soon as possible.

In a great location just a few blocks from historic Main Street. On the free bus lines as well making getting anywhere in the area a breeze. The condo is a great place for adult family or group of friends. It’s within walking distance to the old town of Park City. It has a bus stop out front to take to ski resort but we always drove. We loved the fireplace, the boot warmer and the hot tub! The condo is very open and gets great light. There are a lot of steps- each bedroom was on a different floor- which was great for privacy. We would definitely stay there again! Harry was a great host and checked in on us while we were there to make sure everything was ok. Oh, and I almost forgot - having a garage for the car and ski storage was a bonus!!

Three characteristics come to mind for this condo. First, the owner, Harry, was incredibly helpful and very responsive. I appreciate dealing directly with the owner instead of a property management firm for a variety of reasons. He was easy to work with and provided useful advice and answers to our questions. One could not ask of more from an owner. Two, the location is amazing - situated between downtown and Deer Valley ski resort. Both are just a few minutes walking distance. Additionally, there are a number of hiking/running trails 2 blocks away. We took a number of runs on the trails and saw incredible views in all directions. I recommend hiking/running to Snow Top. Additionally, the cafe near Deer Valley has incredible sandwiches and pie. The tables were placed apart and the staff practiced great hygiene for these times. Third is the condo. I would describe it best as comfortable. It's not just a rental property, but has a comfortable, lived-in feeling with great artwork and many personal touches. The atrium provides great solar lighting and heating. The views from the top bedroom and hot tub are stellar, especially with the Christmas lights. There are a number of levels, so I wouldn't recommend this for someone who has difficulty walking or climbing stairs. However, they are split levels and were not a problem for us (2 of us being AARP members). But then again, Park City, with its hills, is at a high altitude in the mountains and may not be a great destination for someone with difficulties walking. Although we used Uber, the 2 parking spaces in the garage would be ideal for someone driving. However, with its proximity to downtown, trails, and a bus stop just outside the front door, we found a rental car was unnecessary and would have been much more expensive than using Uber to/from the airport. Additionally, the Uber drivers in Park City are a blast and often drive, not out of financial need, but for the enjoyment of meeting new people. They are a wealth of information. Park City is a great place to visit and Harry's condo is a great place to stay.

Loved the location! So close to Park City and Deer Valley, easy hop on/off the bus to go skiing or just go downtown to hang out. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the whole family to gather. We did have one issue of being unable to close a window, we called and someone was there to repair it quickly - so easy! There are a lot of stairs because of the many levels, the owner did warn us of this because we brought my 80 + year old parents. My Dad ended up getting mountain sickness (he was pushing himself carrying groceries up and we are from Florida). The hospital was amazing though and everything turned out great. This was one of our best Christmas' ever and would go back and stay here again for sure!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the property. The views from the rooftop hot tub were exquisite and the hot tub was new and well kept. The beds were comfortable but we would bring our own pillow next time. The kitchen was well equipped. The floor plan is divided amongst five levels and the stairs might be an issue for the disabled or elderly. The location is right in the hub of many entertainment options and activities. We look forward to returning. Very pleasant vacation.

This is a really fun property to rent for a ski week. It is a 5 level townhouse, with each of the 3 bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms- great privacy as they are all separate levels. It is an end unit and is flooded with light and has views in multiple directions. The unit fronts on an interior mews courtyard (not on the busy street) atop a large garage with a dedicated ski closet, so you can walk directly out to the free ski bus stops (stops for Deer Valley and Park City are within 50 ') with your gear. The living room is large with 2 sofas and 2 recliner chairs- probably the best to be found at this price point. It is open to the large kitchen with a beefy counter height dining table which is a half level above- you can easily ask for a refill on your margarita without leaving your Lazy Boy. On one of the separate levels there is a private outdoor deck with hot tub. Unlike other rentals we've had over the years it was hot and worked flawlessly all week! So, all in all, our expectations were exceeded. Harry was easy to communicate with, the location half way between Deer Valley and Park City base was convenient to ski both, and a great time was had by all three couples.

We were very happy with our stay at Harry's property, he was very helpful and accomodating. There is plenty of space for 6 adults with the three bedrooms all on separate levels, each with its own on bathroom. The kitchen seated all 6 easily, as did the living room. We enjoyed the private spa on the balcony after skiing, with a lovely view up the slopes as a bonus. The washing machine in the condo was handy and we found that the drying racks provided were all we needed to dry clothes overnight, but there is a dryer as well if needed. The condo is only a short walk to Main Street with lots of shops and restaurants. There is a bus stop right outside where several buses stop. You can go to Main Street, the grocery store or to several ski lifts. We mostly used the Town Lift which is the closest option with easy access to the slopes and a run back home again. The property has boot dryers for 4 pairs of ski boots with a timer, which is such a bonus. It is not often I find this in private rentals. I would definitely recommend this rental property.

This lodge was perfect for a ski group of friends. Neat, spacious living area to hang out, comfortable bedrooms, rooftop hot tub with amazing views, and short walk to main st. The air inside was dry, which humidifiers in each room helped with, and there was a lack of shower shampoo/soap. Overall a wonderful place!

About the soaps: I have texted the cleaning / turnover lady about your shower soap and shampoo comment, and have asked her to make sure folks have at least a good starter set. We really enjoyed our stay here. I appreciate that each bedroom has it's own full bathroom. So many times doing trips you have to figure out who is getting the hall bathroom and who's going to have to share. It's a small thing but it made things a lot easier with 7 people in the house. The location is perfect especially if you're skiing at Deer Park. One of our party took the shuttle bus each day on his own schedule. It's great having that option right outside of the door and made it so we didn't have to coordinate coming and going. The drive over is about 5 minutes, very convenient. The owner was responsive to messages and was really helpful with an extra thing we asked for. The house is clean and has plenty of space for everyone to spread out in. Tons of extra blankets, everything you might need is there. This was a great stay and I highly recommend it.

Jessica, Thanks for your thoughtful and wonderful review. I too have stayed in condos where you have to decide who is going to get the room or rooms with attached bathrooms. Not an issue in my place. And the extra half-bath off the kitchen is a useful backstop if other bathrooms are occupied. As for the extra blankets etc., I figure it's a ski house in a mountain environment: Give the people the stuff to keep warm! Hope you also made use of the gas fireplace. The location is more convenient to Deer Valley, for sure, but the Park City commute is just a bit longer, and often as not doesn't seem to require changing shuttle buses. I don't drive at all; I had that in mind when I chose this condo. (Our group usually does rent a car, though, and it's handy for groceries and special trips.) I'm glad the flow of the house worked for your group. It does have separate, but connected spaces for gathering in the living room and kitchen / dining area. Great property - very clean and exactly as advertised. So nice to check into a rental property where everything works, and you feel confident that everything is clean. We rented this condo for a family thanksgiving and it was perfect. The property management team had the property spotless when we arrived, and lights were already turned on and welcoming. They also checked in on us after a big snow and cleared the decks and hot tub area which was much appreciated. Harry the owner was great, communicating clearly in the days before, and checking on us halfway through our stay to see if there was anything we needed. You can tell he has put a lot of thought into making it a comfortable rental - TVs in every room so family can spread out and do there own thing, multi-zone heating and air, so you don't end up with the freezing first floor and sweltering top bedroom that you normally get in a vertical condo layout. Lots of little labels around the place to help you figure things out, and a well stocked kitchen (we were able to host a entire thanksgiving dinner bringing only our groceries). Great place, fantastic location easy walking distance from the main street. Love this place. Will definitely stay again, both for the condo and the ease of working with Harry.

We did not want to leave this condo! We were so comfortable - we had everything we needed and more. The split level design allowed for privacy when we needed it, and there was also plenty of room in the den and the kitchen for everyone to hang out together. The view from the hot tub was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. The bus stop is right there, and we never had to wait more than 7-8 minutes for the bus. The condo is perfectly situated between Deer Valley snow park lodge and Main Street, and also very close to the grocery store. Harry and Paul were both extremely responsive and helpful. It speaks volumes for not only the condo itself but the people I work with to manage and do housekeeping that you had a great experience during Sundance, simply because that's the busiest time of year (more than Christmas/New Years, more even than Presidents) for the locals, and they are stretched to the gills. Our group of 3 adults loved everything anout this condo! All three bedrooms were warm - even the one downstairs. The kitchen has plenty of seating for a larger group. The unit was very quiet even though it’s on a main road. We took advantage of the dvd player and the toasty fireplace. The owner was easy to reach before and during our stay. We skied three days at Deer Valley on a supposedly busy holiday weekend (MLK) but we were always able to park close to the lodge and there were almost no lines at the lifts. We love Deer Valley and would definitely consider staying at this condo again!

We had a wonderful summer stay in this spacious condo! It is centrally located to Main Street and Deer Valley, and we enjoyed the fact that each level has it's own bedroom and bathroom, so lots of privacy. The family room is spacious and very comfortable--great TV with Netflix and Amazon movies as well. This was our second visit, and the owner and property manager are prompt to reply and were available immediately when I had questions. We found a lot of stock pantry items upon arrival, so did the same and left ours for the next guest--it's nice to arrive and not have to be able to take inventory of what is there before going shopping. The condo is close to so many great restaurants and hiking trails, plus easy access to Deer Valley and Park City Mountain for skiing, as well as other resorts nearby.

The use-and-replenish arrangement seems to work out well, even if it does lead to the occasional odd spice or other item in the pantry. :-) Who really wants to buy a bottle of olive oil to cook 2-3 meals in a 4-night stay? It's also a small way that I try to bring a form of community to the succession of guests. This townhouse was perfectly located between Park City and Deer Valley, about 2 minute drive to both. Indoor garage was very convenient. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, one on each level. Lots of stairs. Kitchen roomy and stocked well for meals, although we mostly just used for breakfast. Family room very comfortable and cozy with large TV that made watching the Super bowl a pleasure. Dealing with the owner was a pleasure... a few days before our stay he called us to let us know what was still in stock in the kitchen! We paid it forward to the next renter by restocking with more coffee and paper goods. We're sure others will enjoy their stay here...we sure did!

We had a great stay at this property. This place has many positives; convenient location (just a short walk to Main Street), free bus stop is right out front, if you have vehicle there is covered parking, ski locker in garage so you don’t have to carry your gear, all bedrooms have their own full bathroom, hot tub has beautiful view of the mountains, with each bedroom on different levels each has its privacy, and the overall feel of the place is just comfortable. On top of all of these positives communication with the hosts was through and prompt. The only thing i could see as a negative to the place is if you have an adversion to stairs. With all the levels, there are a lot of them. If we make a trip back to Park City we would definitely look to stay here again.

I bought the place because of the flow and feel you wrote about the light, the openness while being cozy, the separate but integrated spaces, and the privacy of the bedrooms with attached baths, plus one half-bath for common use. The verticality of the townhouse is a feature shared with many condos in the area. Whenever I get an inquiry from an older or retired couple or group, I let them know that the place is quite stair-heavy. The problem can be overcome to a large extent by not staying in the upper, master bedroom; that greatly reduces the steps. It's frankly more of an issue out of the ski season, including the summer, when I do get inquiries for long stays by older and retired people. Do stay again! Harry

The location of this property is ideal for anyone wanting to ski Deer Valley or Park City. The bus stop routes outside the condo are extremely convenient. This made it very convenient for us to travel around Deer Valley and Park City without having a rental car. We were celebrating a 50th birthday along with New Year’s. The accommodations were extremely comfortable for our family. We really appreciated having a kitchen with basic necessities and all of the cooking supplies that were available. We found it very easy to work with Harry the owner. We had a conflict and almost had to cancel our trip. However, Harry gave us a few extra days to try and resolve our conflict. Fortunately, we were able to do that and our trip was so much fun. We also appreciated the recommendations for restaurants in the information from Harry. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wherever possible, I work with prospective guests. Why make things harder than they have to be? Glad you found the kitchen adequate. I've asked several guests whether they think it should be upgraded. Uniformly they say no (undoubtedly realizing that this would lead to increased rates). I figure, this way you can show the kids what your first apartment looked like in the early '80s. A long overdue review, and thank you for our lovely host, Harry. We loved this place! We strongly recommend it and look forward to our next visit. We planned our trip at the last minute, and our off-season timing afforded us a large number of options. But Harry's lightning fast, helpful detailed responses sealed the deal. We are so glad! It’s was terrific vacation spot. Bright and sunny as advertised, but so much more. Simply beautifully appointed! Everything was in new condition—and spotless. The layout of the condo is well suited to having a group or large family. We all enjoyed our own bedroom, bathroom and personal space. We had asked Harry if our adult children could share the bunk-bedded room. It was a great space for them with generous, comfortable twin mattresses and an en suite bathroom. Out of his genuine concern that we find the perfect place for our stay, Harry actually understated the accommodations. The beds and bedding were very comfy and we all slept great each night. We enjoy eating in, and the kitchen is certainly a chef’s kitchen, fully stocked and fully equipped with everything you could need. The dining area is sunlit with huge windows. We were delighted with the large number of staple food items (e.g., spices, condiments, cooking oils), and even some snacks, available for guests. Everything was just comfortable and easy. We felt truly at home. As much as we loved our time in the condo, its best feature is the amazing location. It’s described as ‘walk-able’ to town and it truly is just a hop-skip away. There’s no need to walk though, as the free bus stops literally across the street if you’re heading to the slopes and a couple doors down if you’re heading into the fun, vibrant Main Street downtown. What a pleasure to get around so conveniently—without a car. Be sure to spend some time in the rooftop Jacuzzi—complete with views! What a perfect way to end the day! Just a note to thank you. It's nice to have new people come and stay, of course, but repeat guests are the lifeblood of vacation home ownership. And you're a valued guest, for sure! I appreciate that you wrote a nice review this year, because in honesty I know that there were some rough spots in our readiness pre-stay, and while the details are fading in memory at this point, I recall a number of glitches, and hope you know that we did everything we could to address them as fast and completely as possible. Since you left, we have realized that the humidifier was not properly connected or functioning at all, despite the "60%" setting on the dial. Fixed (not easily, mind you, but fixed). We've replaced the dishwasher with a well-functioning, quiet Bosch. The dryer works better (new belt). And the ice maker now makes ice. See you in the future! Harry

We stayed at this condo for 1 week in January during ski season. It was a great place! It has a boot dryer in case your gear gets wet and best of all a hot tub after a long day on the slopes! This condo is super cute because of the layout and design. There are 3 stories technically, but each level is split so the staircase rises half a story each on the way up. So on the bottom is a bedroom then half a story up on the other side of the condo is another bedroom, then another half staircase and the living room is above the first bedroom and kitchen above the second and so forth. It's actually super neat! The place is very clean and it makes you feel like you are at home with the cozy furniture and decorations. They left us some awesome protein packed snacks and there are basic cooking supplies from all the previous renters that you replace as you use if needed. There's also shampoos, conditioners and lotions all around the house (the good kinds!!) which was a nice surprise for me! Had I known I wouldn't have packed so much of my own on the plane! The kitchen is functional with older but perfectly working appliances and a nice coffee machine with a coffee grinder! The owner is also very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had!! We loved our stay here and would definitely come back for the next time we visit the Park City area!

I think no bedroom wall or ceiling touches another! The boot / glove dryer is especially useful when there is a lot of fresh snow. The hot tub is always a welcome reprieve. I have opted to keep the kitchen on the simple but well-stocked side simply to keep costs reasonable but the kitchen fully operational. Condo is perfectly situated near downtown main street in Park City. It was only a 10-minute walk to and from downtown main street where we dined and shopped. We were so close to the weekend PC events like Park Silly that runs every Sunday during summer with live bands, food, drinks and shopping. The condo was great. Harry (The owner) was incredible to work with. The condo is well maintained and Harry was in constant contact with us throughout our 7-week stay. We rented the place for a 7-week stretch as we looked to buy a house. Fast internet and Comcast cable was setup and ready to go! The hot tub was great and maintained every weekend by a service tech (Only took him 5 mins to check everything and do his chemical/chlorine tasks). Lots of seating for folks inside the home for dinners and/or entertainment. Loved the fact that all of the rooms come with their own full bathroom attached! In addition, we have a two-year old and one of the rooms was perfect for my wife and I to sleep in the same room as he (Has both a twin bed and full size bed in the same room)! Would definitely recommend to others and Harry was great to work with. BTW, Shabu on main street is INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend a dinner there and make sure you get the Japanese Wagyu beef! My family pulled a shotgun vacation and well I am so glad that we were able to get this place. Loved sting here and would defiantly look to staying here again first. There was plenty of room for my family. The hot tub was just great up on the roof and the view was not bad either. Loved that you could watch TV is just about every room of the house. Very close to main street. You can ride the bus which is free or you can walk it is not that far. Harry was very accommodating and was great to work with. He made it very easy to get into the place if I needed anything I could text him and he responded very quickly.

Why would I be reluctant to write this review? I am afraid that word will get out how wonderful it is, and it will book up solid! This condo is exactly as pictured. The layout is wonderful for a family group by offering private bedrooms with great gathering areas. It is actually 6 half levels: (1) bunk room (2) queen/twin room (3) living room (4) dining/kitchen +half bath (5) jacuzzi (6) master suite and washer. Beds are comfortable and rooms are warm (winter). The fireplace in the LR actually warms the whole room rather than making it drafty. I loved the rocker/recliners...everyone else did to. The dining table with the leaf in comfortably sat seven. For the first time, in our many years at Deer Valley, we ate in every night because there really was no need to bundle everyone up and venture out. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the "use it, replenish it" policy seems to work very well with the folks that Harry has chosen to rent to. There is a bus stop right in front of the building to get anywhere around town. We enjoyed walking home from the slopes each day - it was a nice stretch after a day of skiing. Then on to the jacuzzi. The view is gorgeous and the rainbow lights are fun. As Harry will tell you, the kitchen and bathroom fixtures are dated, but they are all in working order (everything worked just fine). It was ok with us, and keep in mind that major renovations in that area only raises the rates. We like the rates where they are, and Harry's prices are quite fair. Each year that we visit Deer Valley, we stay at different places. This is the first place that I wanted to rebook even before our trip was over. So we did! Not only is the condo a perfect layout for us, Harry (owner) and Mike (manager) are a true pleasure to deal with. We were even surprised with a lovely welcome basket upon our arrival. Call us repeat customers and we hope that Harry will always have a [sun]spot for us (he does like it when folks come back)!

8 young women gathered at this condo for a college reunion and we couldn't have asked for more. There was the perfect amount of space and sleeping room, with the larger beds being shared by 2. The pictures posted are totally accurate. Each bedroom was plenty spacious and had its own bathroom and tv (not that we cared to watch it!). Highlights of the condo were the openness between the kitchen, living, and dining rooms, the easy to use fireplace, and the outdoor hot tub with a gorgeous view. Even though the house is not huge, noise was not an issue for those who retired to bed early. We were planning to rent a car but cancelled at the last minute and I'm so happy we did. The bus stop is literally steps from the condo and Park City's amazing FREE transit system got us anywhere we needed to go easily and efficiently. Harry, as well as his local property manager, made our stay a breeze. They were in quick contact for any question or small issue that arose. Harry treats this condo as a home- and he clearly enjoys sharing the joys of Park City with others. In all, a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone! I only wish we could've stayed longer :)

Hi Sarah, So glad my condo met or exceeded your expectations and the needs of your group. Yes I like the rental income to defray some of my expenses as an owner, but I love it when people enjoy the place the way you did. I can't live there, sadly, or spend as much time there as I'd like. I'm a working stiff. I visit like my guests do. I am particularly heartened that you complimented the view from the hot tub deck. Until recently, a fat chimney stack partially obstructed the view. Over the last year, the property manager and I redirected the gas line from the fireplace, allowing us to knock down the chimney and provide the nicer panorama you see today. Every year I try to do something(s) to improve the condo. As for having the regret that you couldn't spend more time, well, next year or this summer you can do something about that! A group of 8 adults stayed in this condo for one week and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo's layout was perfect for a big crowd. We never felt like we were on top of each other. It has all the amenities one would need for a ski vacation. The location was perfect with a bus literally right outside the door. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for the bus to reach any of the three local mountains. Main Street is just a few minute walk away if you don't want to wait for a bus. Harry was incredibly easy to book with and was very prompt in getting back to me with any questions. He also checked in midweek just to make sure everything was going smoothly, and really goes above and beyond with personal touches to make the stay that much better. All around excellent experience.

Writing from the condo now near the end of a wonderful long weekend with friends here -- complete with fresh powder today -- I must confess to feeling a little sad to leave. We have been skiing in Park City/Deer Valley for over 20 years, thus know all of the locations and housing options. We chose Sunspot for rental after investigating ALL local possibilities on Homeaway and found it to be the best combination of location, comfort and most importantly, VALUE. In our opinion, too many rentals are over-priced in this market with owners that seek to skim the market. Sunspot is a nice property at a realistic price with very flexible/personable, involved ownership and solid local management. We are value-driven but very discerning renters who are used to a higher end experience. Sunspot met our needs in all respects.

You could easily fit six or more in the condo without feeling crowded. The location is fantastic. Not only can you take the short bus ride from the front of the condo to Deer Valley (we only skied at DV), but DV has free parking at the mountain base so some days we hopped in the car for the couple minute drive to the base of the mountain. Downtown Park City is just around the corner, so close in fact that we rented skis from the ski shop in downtown. Simply put, the condo was well equipped, very user friendly and comfortable, and in a great location. We particularly enjoyed the views of the mountain from the hot tub after skiing. The owner was exceedingly helpful and reached out to us a number of times during our stay to make sure everything was okay. He genuinely wanted our feedback to improve the experience of future occupants. We now have our go to place in Deer Valley. Thanks Harry for a wonderful experience.

Even if I were inclined to find a blemish here - I wouldn't be able to. The property is exactly as described; the location is about 7 minutes away by foot (1.5min by car) from the Old Town; the shuttles of I think all colors stop right in front of the unit. Deer Valley is about 1 min away by car. There were 8 people in our party, and this condo is a perfect size for this many. Could probably fit at least one more person fairly easily, too. The owner Harry absolutely goes extra mile to keep you satisfied. Whatever minor issues we had - e.g. cable company messing up the wireless access - Harry was on top of within the shortest timeframe, and had it resolved in no time. Highly recommend.

We had a great time last week (mar 13-18, 2012) at Harry's place. Thanks so much for your attention to detail, Sir, to make our vacation all it could be. We aspecially liked your suggestion for High West Distillery for dinner - we watched March Madness on their jumbtron (?300" TV). Our only regret was that it snowed 20" on the day we had to leave :-( The bus stopped right outside the complex, and OFTEN. Turns out we did not even need our rental car. The boot warmer/glove dryer was a nice touch. Thanx again!

We stayed here for a week in early February. What an awesome location! The ski slopes are literally right there, and there is a bus stop out front that can take you to Deer Valley or Park City. Main street is very a short ride away with lots of great shopping and restaurants. The unit itself was very good and clean. The pictures did not do this unit justice! The furniture was nice and updated with lots of cool extras like a TV in the kitchen, WiFi, DVD player, HOT TUB and great appliances. The owner is also very helpful and professional, we had no problems at all and would definitely stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this Sunspot condo, the furnishings were very comfortable (loved the sofas and chairs in the living room!), the hot tub had a nice view to the slopes, the kitchen was very well-equipped, and it's so convenient to both the slopes and to Main Street in Park City - very short bus ride to Deer Valley if you don't want to drive and, again if you don't want to drive and are feeling energetic, you can walk to Main Street. The owner left good instructions about the condo and nearby places of interest and generously welcomed us with a gift basket. We would be happy to stay here again.

Only one word describes this vacation rental property and its owner - amazing!! We stayed here for 5 days and at the end of the trip no one wanted to leave. The property is within 10 minutes walk (5 minute drive) from Main street and all shops, restaurants, and bars in downtown Park City. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and private floor which makes for a great getaway with large group of friends or family. The photos in the listing accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was clean and very well-maintained. The living room has two big comfortable couches and a nice fireplace that kept everyone warm. The kitchen was big enough for cooking and entertaining 7 people comfortably. One of the best amenities was the big jacuzzi outside on the patio. We used it everyday after long days of skiing. It has beautiful views of Main street and Park City Resort slopes, and comfortably fits 5 people. Harry was very accommodating and helpful with anything that we needed. He even allowed us to check out late because our flights were late at night which allowed us to ski one extra day. We can't wait to be back again next year and highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a vacation home away from home in Park City! Thank you Harry for your hospitality!!!

I was in charge of finding a ski vacation rental for people ranging in age from 4 to 74... and this was the perfect place!! We all loved it! The condo was so nice to come home to after a day of skiing. The private hot tub was just lovely. It was so nice to sit out there and look out over the town and the ski hills... and watch all the lights come on in the evening... great views... a perfect spot! We cooked dinner and hung out quite often in the evenings, but the location of the condo was so great that we could all walk into town and have dinner on Main Street if we wanted to. (Yup, even the 4 year old and his grandpa walked to town too... very easy walk and we all had fun in the snow!) The condo is in a great location... it's between Deer Valley and Park City... so take your pick! We skied both and it was so easy getting around. And though the bus stop was right out front, we also appreciated the underground parking too, which meant that nobody was scraping the windshield in the morning! Beds were all comfortable too… especially after blowing it out on the slopes all day, you really need a good mattress and a good night’s sleep. Everything was very comfortable and the bunk beds were perfect for the kids. TV’s and cable felt just like home… good food stores nearby… it was all great! Harry goes the extra mile to make sure everything is just right... and it was! We will definitely be back!! Thanks Harry!!

We had a group of 5 stay at this lovely Sunspot condo for a week of skiing in feb 2011. We couldn't have been happier. The condo was updated, clean, and roomy. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. There were many small touches that we appreciated- a basket of 8 towels right at the door leading to the hot tub (the tub was 2 steps right outside of the door, and it was immaculate and hot!!), current magazines laying about, extra trail maps for all the resorts, a little business area with a printer, pads of paper, pens and pencils, tape, etc.... it goes on and on. Definitely more than you would find in most rentals. And we have rented A LOT through VRBO! We are actually trying to find the same mattress we slept on in the master, it was that comfortable. Not to mention the condo is located literally right next to the bus stop. Great if you are dragging skis around, and perfect for hopping on for a quick 3 minute ride into town. We would definitely stay again!

Our family stayed in this condo for Christmas and had a lovely time! This home was more than we expected. It´s spacious and beautifully decorated, very well maintained. It´s well located just a few minutes from the town,restaurants and ski areas (both Deer Valley and PC just a few minutes by car. We walked to PC with the dogs many times and it took less than 10 minutes to get there. Each 3 bedroom has a bathroom of its own which is very convenient. We loved sitting in the hot tub after a day of skiing admiring the stars and the slopes. Harry, our landlord, took excellent care of us and made our stay very comfortable and easy and even called us a few times to make sure everything was fine! He has great staff taking care of the condo! Wireless internet was also very convenient and worked well. Also there´s a busstop just a few steps from the condo that takes you both to Deer Valley and PC - so no car is really needed. We highly recommend this and would love to come back !!
